Both brands have larger ships of about 400/600 pax that they out fit with zodiacs to compete a season in the Antarctic, which is how all shore excursions are conducted on expedition voyages.
 
However, we suggest you try to secure a berth on one of their purpose-built expedition ships which are much smaller at only 200 pax and really will take your experience to the next level.
