Explora Q&A Sun 14 Jan 8:45am

Take a deep dive into Explora Journeys. The newest and most exciting 6-Star cruise line in the world.

Join Captain James and other members of TEAM FAB for a Facebook LIVE event at 8:45 am Eastern Australia Summer Time. Sunday 14 January.

James McCullagh the Business Relationship Manager for Explora will be available to answer all of your questions and why, if you are rusted onto another six Star brand such as Seabourn, Silversea, Regent or Scenic you should seriously consider Explora Journeys.

Explora is the first new 6-star cruise line by a major player in decades. We have received glowing reports about the design and decor of the ships, the food, and the service. Which will give Seabourn, Silversea a rund for their money which is good for every one.

Explora Journeys offers adventure cruises that are designed to be immersive and educational, while the other three offer more traditional luxury cruises that focus on elegance and comfort.

Explora Journeys has a fleet of four ships, each with a capacity of 461 guests and 415 crew members, providing a personalized and intimate experience.

The other three have larger fleets and capacities, ranging from 600 to 750 guests and 450 to 550 crew members per ship.

Explora Journeys’ ships are designed to be modern and comfortable, with spacious cabins, modern amenities, and a variety of dining and entertainment options23. Seabourn, Silversea and Regent have more classic and elegant designs, with well-appointed suites, sophisticated service, and gourmet dining venues.

Explora Journeys is all-inclusive, meaning that guests can enjoy unlimited beverages, gratuities, Wi-Fi, laundry service, and shore excursions without any extra fees.

The other three are also all-inclusive, but some of them have exceptions or limitations, such as Seabourn not including premium wines and spirits, or shore excursions.

- The cruise line aims to provide immersive and educational journeys that inspire guests to travel further, immerse deeper, and linger a little longer.

  • A note about pricing.

Our prices, like most online retailers, including VTG, are not live, only indicative.

We do everything possible to ensure pricing is accurate when they are uploaded every Sunday.

However, pricing in the cruise industry is no different from airfares. Prices can go up and down based on availability and can change, or indeed sell out, in the time it takes you to refresh your screen.

When you request a quote we have to get into the reservation system of the cruise line and verify current-day pricing, which can be different from prices on our website. Pricing in the industry is all communicated electronically and this can lead to corrupted data and errors which we may not pick up until we ask for a specific quote.

Until we place a firm hold on a cabin, prices can never be guaranteed. Failure to pay deposits by the set deadlines will void any quoted prices.
